2013.10.23. On Buffett's CNN Piers Morgan Interview

Personally i dislike the way Piers Morgan conducts his show.

Hardly do i know of a man rejoicing in good fame and name talking in a way such as Mr. Piers.  When an argument is heated--whichever subject be it categorized--the renowned British-accent American show host interrupts his guests and stops people in the middle of their talk in a very disconcerting way.

Today I'm not going to talk about the nuisance made by the host.  I'm going to talk about the interviewee, Mr. Rich Grandpa, Warren Buffett.

After almost a full hour of good laughs with his son and grandson together with the show host, Grandpa Buffett was asked by Morgan What Time of Life Will He Trade his Fortune with.

Or something like that.

Mr. Buffett's answer astonished me.  Because he answered the question only in a split second.

"The time with my father.  Any time."

That, took me away from my daily chores awhile.  For me, what an enlightening moment for man who are husbands and fathers.  Only it looks to Claire, Mr. Howard Buffett, the first heir of the Buffett Enterprise, only published a book called "40 Chances" to get rich or what, but missed the big part of a most cherishable human experience that is really worth keeping track and leave a good record of.

How i would love to know how the good old man lead his young son into such view of life.

  1. Unfortunately, he cannot trade the time with his fortune.

  2. Surely nobody can. But what prompted this article is the touching sensation you don't often get after talking with ANY over-rich man. Because, he DOES commemorate his father, which, not really everybody does.
